Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley has immediate openings at four locations for the Youth Development Professional position.
We have year long positions and summer positions available. Please indicate on your application if you are interested in year round or summer only. 

Primary Function

• Responsible for the creation and delivery of a program in one or more areas of the Core Program structure of the Boys and Girls Clubs for a specific grade/age level. 
  • Core Areas Are:
    • Leadership & Service
    • Education & STEM
    • The Arts
    • Health & Wellness
    • Sports & Recreation
• Assist with overall supervision of Club members and participate in the creation of a safe, positive, engaging, and team-oriented Club atmosphere.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check (you may also be fingerprinted)
• High school diploma required, college degree preferred
• 2 years’ experience working with groups of children 
• Spanish fluency is preferred, but not required
• Must be 21 years old to work at the Teen Center
• Must be willing to be creative, flexible, and inventive
• Must balance having FUN while keeping members safe and learning
• Must be available Monday-Friday in the afternoons (20-25 hours per week), morning availability possible at the Moline Club during summer

Our summer program is TBD, estimate dates are June 15 – August 7. You will not work July 3.
